Leilani Wolfgramm: “Sinner” is unmatched!

Leilani Wolfgramm is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Orlando, Florida whose sound mixes R&B with the island sound of Dancehall, Reggae, HipHop, and Pop. Leilani has shared the stage with Ballyhoo, Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, Sublime ft. Rome, New Kingston and The Movement. You can practically smell the smoke rising from Leilani Wolfgramm’s single, “Sinner”, which is the first song taken from her album “Bipolar”. The rising smoke is not from a fired gun or a burning cigarette either. It’s from the sheer fire contained within Leilani’s performance. She burns down all expectations and boundaries and crafts a track truly unlike anything out there—totally original and yet wholly otherworldly

Shimmering guitars subtly glisten over a muted keyboard as, Wolfgramm’s soulful croon creeps to the forefront, and she immediately transfixes. She confesses, “Good God I’m a sinner / Thicker when the blood floods so I make it thinner / So I put my heart straight into the liquor / My heart broke the bottle “, and you can’t help but believe her.

The real majesty of the record emanates from Leilani Wolfgramm’s impenetrable delivery. Her voice isn’t matched by anyone else in pop right now, in terms of how she mixes high class elegance with lowdown and dirty grit.  She’s the devil and a queen all wrapped in one.

“Sinner” swings from swaggering delta soul into a bullet-riddled expletive refrain that will blow you away. Tipping from an edgy urban hum into a punchy reggae bounce, this track blinks with just the right amount of passion and ferocious spite.

Leilani Wolfgramm is able to extensively flex her lyrical muscles and show her strength in the face of the vulnerability. Listening to her voice is a lot like sipping a good whiskey: it burns the throat just a bit but it always goes down smooth.

Her performance is captivating not only for her great voice and peculiar way with words, but for how seamless the fusion is. Leilani is an artist who makes music on her own terms, affording the track with whatever it needs to aid her vision.

People often complain that there’s no one original around anymore. “Sinner” introduces the most original voice and sound in a decade, and it’s bound to be a landmark for Leilani Wolfgramm. It’s all about to go up in flames so get a front row seat now because Leilani’s going to be one of the biggest stars on this planet real soon.
