ALBORN Delivers Another Punch: Watch the New Video for Single “YMI”

Northern Illinois-based alternative metal act ALBORN released the official music video for their latest single, “YMI,” on Friday, May 16th. The track, a powerful and introspective anthem, marks the latest chapter in the band’s rapidly ascending career and arrives on the heels of their recent signing with Damon Moreno’s Inner Light Agency and Satellite Touring for North American booking representation.

“‘YMI’ is intended to be that question you ask yourself at your darkest moments,” shares vocalist Justin Taylor. “Questioning your existence and your purpose is something I think everyone does at some point, but to me, it’s ironic that the question only comes to mind in dark times. Happiness and success never make you question yourself. These lyrics are intended to bring this concept to light.”

Following a string of highly successful singles and relentless touring, ALBORN has emerged as one of the Midwest’s most promising rock acts. The band’s sonic identity fuses melodic intensity with a raw, emotionally honest core, capturing audiences both live and across the airwaves.

ALBORN first gained national attention with their 2020 debut EP Impairative, followed by standout singles like

“Full Circle” and “Hindsight,” which landed placements on Spotify’s “Rock Hard” playlist, SiriusXM Octane, Music Choice, and widespread radio rotation. Their momentum continued with 2023’s Billboard-charting single “Push,” recorded in Las Vegas with acclaimed producers Chris Collier and James “Fluff” Harley (Korn, Prong).

Their touring history includes sharing stages with Shinedown, All That Remains, Powerman 5000, Sevendust, Nonpoint, Buckcherry, Gemini Syndrome, and more, as well as delivering explosive performances at Rockfest and numerous sold-out headline shows across the Midwest.

Now, with a new single and video that tackle the human condition head-on, and a new chapter under Damon Moreno’s Inner Light Agency and Satellite Touring, ALBORN is further positioning itself for an even bigger 2025 and beyond.
