David Vaters releases “RED SEA” from the upcoming “A Voice in the Wilderness Volume 3”

Two years after the release of their impressive double debut albums A Voice in the Wilderness Volume 1 & 2 release, David Vaters releases “RED SEA” a purposeful continuation of the aesthetic that Vaters has fostered on his first two records.

David Vaters, collaborated with Andre Wahl as co-Producer & Engineer on this album to help create Vaters wholly unique styling, which ranges from the fearlessly improvisational to the tender; the abrasive to the understated.

Music Talkers caught up with the preview track which is set to be released on July 18th. Red Sea fuses Country & Rock together forming a solid foundation which is sure to appeal to a wide audience. The crossover of sound would please both traditional country fans, and with a slightly more heavier sound, avid rock fans should be interested too.

Vaters music also has elements of Blues, Folk and gospel, and is highly inspired by his faith; “With GOD on our side we just can’t loose” are lyrics taken from his new release.  Style wise, “Red Sea” is not dissimilar to the likes of Tom Petty & The Eagles, and this makes sense as reports suggest Petty & The Eagles are an influence to David, along with Bruce Coburn and Neil Young.

No stranger to success, David has achieved several accolades recently with over 20 million+ streams in 2017/18 across digital platforms, plus racking up impressive chart positions. In addition, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry. His latest song “Red Sea” is set to push these boundaries even further.

“It is classic David’s Vaters – nothing new out there now like it.”   – Mike Smith – Michael Smith & Associates Nashville, TN.

Regarding his intentions for Volume 3, his third studio album to be release in early 2020, Vaters said, “The most important thing for me while putting this record together was the idea of playing on the strengths of the first two records without completely abandoning the sound we developed with Dave Vest, Tom Hemby and Scott Faris. (all of whom produced the songs with David on Volume 1 & 2).

Red Sea is Vaters first single from the soon to be released album A Voice in the Wilderness Volume 3. Volume 3 takes the most memorable elements of his debut solo records and expands upon them, honing the craft, and further distinguishing Vaters unique sound. The blissful guitar phrasing lend an almost vocal capacity to these songs as Vaters offers a perfect vocal vehicle for his exuberance and highly anticipated by 10’s of thousands of his fans!
