Dr Kings Oturu receives The Extraordinary Achievers Charity Award in London

Dr Kings Oturu is a British Nigerian based in Scotland. With a medical background, he is an artist, author and teacher among other talents. He is originally from Ariam Usaka, Ikwuano LGA, Abia State, Nigeria. He gave his life to Christ while in Kings’ College Lagos in 1989. He is a serial social entrepreneur having set up the Prevention and Control of AIDS/STDS Foundation (to combat HIV/AIDS), the African Scottish Development Organisation (www.asdoonline.org.uk) and the Holy Ghost Chapel (www.holyghostchapel.org).

Dr Kings Oturu is passionate about helping the poor and needy. He derives joy in bringing hope to the hopeless and destitute in their time of need. He was recently honored by receiving The Extraordinary Achievers Charity Award in London for his work with the African Scottish Development Organization which he founded.

The Charity collaborated with the Scottish Government NHS Scotland Global citizenship Programme, Strathclyde University and University of Ibadan to donate Medical Equipment (Anesthetic machines, endoscopy machines, Defibrillators etc) from Scotland, UK to four Nigerian hospitals (Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital Sokoto, Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia Abia State, Niger Foundation Hospital Enugu and University of Ibadan, Oyo State).

These are being used to save lives in Africa and support reverse logistics in remanufacture research to combat climate change. His latest single, ‘I want to testify’, sings about the Grace of God in overcoming life’s changes with transforming testimonies. His Anointed music has blessed many lives with great testimonials.
