Jahn Dough – “The Garden Project” is representative of his skillset

Rapper and educator Jahn Dough releases new project “The Garden Project” along with new visual “G Wagon” .The California born artist who lives in Dallas, TX, is heavily influenced by great musicians like Prince and Pharrell, which you can be heard throughout “The Garden Project.”  Possessing a business degree from the University of North Texas, Jahn Dough has been in the education field for several years; however, he has been in tune with music since the age of 7, and creates songs with the intention of changing the narrative not only for black men, but also for creatives in general.

On the “The Garden Project”, Jahn Dough has stepped up to the plate to produce music that is representative of his skillset. Personal events and experiences, joyful or tragic, always influence the messages and the attitude of an artist, and these are perfectly built into the songs in this collection. In fact, the strength in this album is Jahn Dough poetic, narrative power.

Jahn Dough music does not invite casual listening: It refuses to recede into the background. The rapper grabs listeners attention with variety of flows, and demands to be heard. He can be exhilarating, and downright transcendent.

The talented emcee does a superb job at mixing up his rhyme style on basically every song. Urgent and impactful as always, his heartfelt music succeeds at balancing out traditional hip-hop elements with original music composition.
