ABOUT KOLLAH BONE

Lucienne A. M. Roosberg (born February 22, 1990), better known by his stage name Kollah Bone, is a Sint Maarten-born hip-hop artist, music producer, songwriter, and audio engineer. Renowned for blending trap, dancehall, and rap, Kollah Bone has made a significant mark in both the Caribbean and European hip-hop scenes, emerging as a multifaceted artist and founder of Omnitune Records.

Born and raised in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten, Kollah Bone was brought up by his great-aunts in a deeply religious household. His early life revolved around the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he was introduced to gospel music — the first spark in what would become a lifelong relationship with sound. At just five years old, he was already absorbing the essence of hip-hop through his older sister’s music collection.

Kollah Bone’s signature sound is a rich blend of Caribbean rhythms, American trap, and melodic rap. With roots in West Indian culture, his lyrics are infused with island slang, raw storytelling, and heavy 808s.

Kollah Bone’s foray into music production began in his teenage years after discovering Fruity Loops Studio (FL Studio) through a cousin. Self-taught and driven, he soon started producing for local artists and co-founded the beat-making group DBK (Da Beat Kings) alongside George “G-Wattz” Martin and Rodrique “G-Bone” Richardson.
